Natalia Majos on Her Career, Passion, and Work on Stage – Her Path to Success

Natalia Majos, an artist, singer, and dancer who has won the hearts of audiences with her charisma and talent. In an interview, she reveals how she began her journey with music and dance, what the stage means to her, and how she handles the challenges that come with an artistic career. She talks about the important role emotions play in her life and shares her experiences performing on television and the impact of social media on her career.
Participating in "Hotel Paradise" was a unique experience. How do you remember working on the set of this show, and what lessons did you learn from it?
Taking part in this type of program is definitely not for everyone. You need to have a lot of distance toward people, yourself, and various often unpredictable situations. Daily life in a confined space with a group of strangers is a true test of patience, openness, and adaptability. I learned how to navigate a group where everyone is an individualist with their own ambitions while also having to function within dynamic relationships. It’s not easy because emotions often run high, and tensions arise at the most unexpected moments. I realized how important it is not only to listen to others but also to stand your ground. I also learned how to fight for my place, both within the group and in interpersonal relationships. The show gave me a lot of self-confidence because I often had to make quick decisions, defend my values, and cope with pressure. This experience taught me that it’s worth being yourself, even if not everyone likes it — because authenticity always prevails.
Recording two songs for "Hotel Paradise" was not only an incredible opportunity but also a great responsibility. What emotions accompanied you during the work on these tracks, and what did you want to convey to the listeners?
I was truly honored when the label chose me for their project during the casting. It was a huge distinction but also a big responsibility — I knew these songs would become an integral part of the show, and their vibe had to perfectly reflect its atmosphere. I’m so happy I could showcase my artistic abilities and create something that would be remembered for a long time. Music has always been an important way for me to express emotions, so having the chance to record my own tracks in the context of such a big project was a dream come true. Every stage of working on these songs — from the first studio rehearsals, through vocal recordings, to the final production — was an amazing learning experience and a chance for growth. I also had the opportunity to fly to Panama twice to shoot the music videos, which was an unforgettable adventure in itself. The scenery, the vibe, and the whole crew on set gave the videos a truly unique character. I wanted listeners to feel the energy, emotions, and atmosphere of "Hotel Paradise" through these tracks. I hope I managed to convey that and that these songs will bring back the best memories associated with the show.
You work at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, which has its own unique demands. What artistic challenges do you face on stage, and has the theatre helped you discover new aspects of your talent?
The stage is where I feel best — it’s a space where I can fully express myself and dedicate myself to art. But theatre, especially musical theatre, is not just about the magic of lights and the emotions flowing from the stage. It’s also a huge responsibility, discipline, and constant self-improvement. Theatre is definitely not for everyone. It requires sacrifice, determination, and the ability to handle stress. The working hours are unconventional — rehearsals often last from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by evening performances from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, which significantly impacts daily life and demands good organization. It’s an intense rhythm that forces you to balance work and private life.
Every performance brings a new challenge — sometimes technical, when you need to perfectly synchronize choreography with singing and acting, and sometimes emotional, when a role requires diving deep into the psychology of a character. Theatre has taught me not only discipline but also humility toward art and the creative process. Thanks to it, I’ve gained greater self-confidence — both on and off stage. I’ve discovered new vocal and acting abilities in myself, but most importantly, I’ve learned how crucial teamwork and trust are. Because theatre isn’t just about individuals — it’s the collective effort of many people working together to create something truly special for the audience.
Musical theatre demands exceptional discipline and versatility. What physical and emotional preparations are crucial for you before every performance?
Before every set of shows, we have revival rehearsals that usually last 2–3 days, each running 4 to 8 hours. This is the time to refresh choreography, work on interpretation, and perfect the smallest details that shape the final effect on stage. For me, the key before every performance is immersing myself in the atmosphere of the show — I need to reconnect with the character’s emotions, recall their motivations, and channel the energy they bring to the story. It’s not just about technique but also about mental preparation. Sometimes it requires calm and focus, while other times it’s about building up energy, especially when the show demands high dynamism and expression.
A proper warm-up is also an essential part of my preparation. I start with physical exercises — stretching, muscle activation, and quick choreography run-throughs to get my body ready for intense stage movement. Equally important is the vocal warm-up — breathing exercises, scales, and diction work that help me maintain full control of my voice throughout the performance. I also prioritize proper recovery — sleep, healthy nutrition, and hydration play a huge role, especially with long rehearsals and multiple shows back-to-back. Every performance requires tremendous effort, but it’s this intensity that gives me satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment.
You’re not only a singer but also a dancer and a model. Are there aspects of working on stage that have helped you in front of the camera, or the other way around?
Absolutely. In fact, these forms of art — singing, dancing, and modeling — really intertwine and complement each other. Each one requires not only technical skills but also a sense of aesthetics, body awareness, and self-confidence, which are crucial both on stage and in front of the camera. Dancing, for instance, helps a lot in modeling — it’s given me perfect control over my movements and poses, and I know how to work with my body to look my best from every angle. The dynamic movement I practice on stage translates into fluid posing and the ability to tell a story through photos. After all, modeling isn’t just about striking a pretty pose — it’s about expression and emotion, skills I constantly develop through theater and music.
On the other hand, working in front of the camera has taught me precision and attention to detail, which is invaluable on stage. Performing in musical theater requires me to be mindful of every gesture, facial expression, and glance, making sure that even the audience members in the back rows can feel the emotions of my character. Modeling has also helped me manage stage fright and adapt to different working conditions — whether it’s a photo shoot or a live performance.
Being active in all these fields allows me to draw inspiration from each one and continuously expand my artistic versatility. It gives me great freedom in my work and helps me feel comfortable in different roles — whether I’m performing on stage, singing, dancing, or posing for a photoshoot.
Which gives you more satisfaction – working on a musical or theatrical stage, or modeling? Are there situations where these two worlds complement each other?
The greatest satisfaction comes from the stage – both theatrical and musical – because that’s where I can fully express myself and share emotions with the audience. Live performances have something magical about them – the energy that flows between the artist and the viewers is unparalleled. Each show or concert is a unique experience, full of emotions and adrenaline, something that can’t be recreated in any other profession. However, both modeling and dancing also have their own special appeal. Dancing gives me freedom of movement, allowing me to tell stories with my body, while modeling taught me awareness of my physique, control over every gesture, and precision. These elements are what make all these fields complement each other.
On stage, just like in front of the camera, posture, movement, and the ability to express emotions without words are essential. Modeling helped me in my stage work by teaching me precise control over my movements and focus on facial expressions, which is incredibly important in theater and during concerts. On the other hand, theater and dance have added more expression and dynamism, which I can now utilize in photoshoots. These worlds aren’t separate – on the contrary, they blend into each other, allowing me to grow in each of these areas and draw inspiration from different forms of art.
Your tracks recorded for „Hotel Paradise" are closely linked to the show. Are you planning further musical projects or new tracks related to other projects?
Yes, I definitely plan to focus more on music after finishing my studies. I already have a few producers I'd like to collaborate with. I want to experiment with different genres and explore new projects. Music is a passion that I want to pursue seriously, so I hope to present new tracks soon.
Modeling often requires adopting a specific role or character. Do your acting experiences in theater help you with this role, and if so, how?
My acting experience definitely helps me in modeling, especially in situations where a specific role or character needs to be assumed. In commercials, where modeling often merges with acting, acting skills are just as important as the ability to pose. Often, at castings, I need to demonstrate not only good presentation but also the ability to express emotions or tell a story through facial expressions and gestures. These two fields complement each other, allowing me to express myself more fully and naturally in front of the camera.
Participating in "Hotel Paradise" gave you a lot of recognition. How has this changed your life, and has it influenced your artistic choices?
At first, the popularity I gained from "Hotel Paradise" was a big surprise and overwhelming, especially since I wasn't someone who was very active on social media – I only created my TikTok account a year ago. However, over time, I learned how to use this popularity for artistic purposes, which opened up new opportunities for me. Thanks to this, I was able to break into the advertising industry and expand my modeling portfolio, which influenced my future career choices. It became an impetus for growth and seeking new artistic challenges.
What are your future plans – in music, theater, and modeling? Is there something specific you'd like to achieve in each of these areas?
My plans for the future involve further growth in each of these fields. I would love to attend dance and vocal castings for theater productions across Poland to gain new experiences and grow as an artist. I also plan to record my own song, one that is more personal and aligns with my style, not connected to "Hotel Paradise" anymore. In modeling, I dream of landing an international contract, which would allow me to expand my career on a larger scale. I want to combine these three passions, striving for as much versatility as possible and achieving success in each of these areas.
What were your first steps in the music and television industries? Were there moments when you faced particular difficulties, yet refused to give up?
My first steps in the music industry were as a child. I performed in dance competitions in elementary school and also attended music school, where I spent many years learning how to play the violin. Music has always been a passion for me, which over time evolved into something more professional. The television experience, however, was completely new to me. Participating in a TV program came with many challenges, particularly dealing with the hate that emerged after the show aired. That was a tough period, but over time, I learned how to cope with negative opinions. After the program ended, the hate subsided, and I could focus on what truly matters to me – developing my artistic career. These difficulties taught me perseverance and helped me realize the importance of staying true to my goals despite obstacles.
What is your source of inspiration in your artistic work? Are there any people, events, or experiences that have had the greatest impact on your style and message?
My biggest source of inspiration comes from international models and artists who have greatly influenced me through their creativity and personalities. I especially admire figures like Raye, Tatiana Elizabeth, Ava Noémie, and Epiphianie. Their style, way of expressing themselves, and approach to art truly fascinate me. Their work shows how important it is to be authentic and independent as an artist. Thanks to them, I've learned how to fully express myself in my work and not be afraid to experiment with different forms of expression, both in music and in modeling.
In interviews, many artists talk about the need to find inner strength. What aspects of your personality or life philosophy help you persevere and pursue your goals?
In my artistic career, what gives me strength is the certainty that I am in the right place. When I perform, act, or pose for photoshoots, I feel that it's my place, and I am fully myself. It's also important that I have met many people along the way who believed in me, supported me, and gave me confidence. Thanks to them, I've learned how important it is not to give up during difficult times. This self-belief and support from others not only helps me persevere but also allows me to pursue my goals with even greater dedication.
Do you have any particular memories or events in your career that have stayed with you forever and that you like to recall?
One of the most important events in my career was the visit of my dance coach, who had taught me for 15 years, to the musical "Hairspray" at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, in which I took part. She came with her parents, who are from the Tri-City and hold this theatre in high regard. It was a huge source of pride and honor for me to perform in front of them. I could see how happy they were with my success, and their admiration was a truly special moment for me. This memory will forever remain in my mind as one of the most beautiful and emotional events in my career.
Social media is an important part of a career in show business today. How do you develop your accounts and plan content to engage your followers?
Currently, I focus on posting content related to modeling as well as funny reels, which get a lot of engagement from my followers. I enjoy sharing behind-the-scenes moments – especially from photo shoots and advertising campaigns – because what happens behind the scenes is really interesting for my fans. My reels often follow trends that are popular at the time, which helps me connect with my audience more easily. I also try to respond to comments and engage in conversations with my followers, which helps me build a strong bond with my community.
You have experience in modeling, theater, and television. Which aspects of your career do you showcase most frequently on social media and why those?
Currently, my profile focuses mainly on content related to modeling because I want Instagram to become my main portfolio. It’s where photographers, agencies, and companies looking for collaboration often reach out to me. I want my account to showcase the best results of my work, which is why I focus on photos and materials that best reflect my style and professionalism in this field.
Did your participation in "Hotel Paradise" impact the development of your social media profiles? What changes did you notice after the show?
Before participating in "Hotel Paradise," I didn’t manage any social media at all, so it was a huge shock for me when, after the show, I suddenly gained so many followers and started receiving tons of messages. Initially, I didn’t realize how significant social media could be for career development. Over time, I began to see that it’s a great tool for building an image and establishing professional connections. Thanks to the popularity I gained, I’ve been able to develop my career, and now many companies and photographers reach out to me through these platforms, allowing me to work on really interesting projects.
In social media, it's easy to have quick contact with fans, but also to face pressure regarding your image. How do you deal with this? Do you have any strategies that help you maintain authenticity?
I’ve never had a specific strategy because I prefer to just be myself. I always post content that I like and that aligns with my style and personality. My profile is still my personal space, which I manage myself, so I try to be authentic and natural in what I do. I don’t feel the need to post anything forcefully, as I care about showing only what truly reflects my personality. This way, I maintain a balance between being active on social media and staying true to myself.
What is your approach to brand collaborations? Do you choose them according to the values you present on your profiles?
I choose brand collaborations very carefully and always consider whether the brand is something I genuinely recommend. I’m not interested in collecting items that are useless to me or of low quality, so I try to collaborate only with brands that have values I identify with. I want what I show on my profiles to be authentic and aligned with my beliefs, so I always prioritize collaborations that truly fit my lifestyle.
Do you plan to use your social media for further artistic projects, such as promoting new songs or theater projects?
Yes, nowadays social media is the best way to promote any artistic projects. I’m lucky that I’ve already built a solid community, which makes it easier for me to reach a wider audience. I know that many artists and models try to gain as much reach as possible because, unfortunately, potential employers often look at the number of followers as well. That’s why I plan to use my profiles to promote new songs, theater projects, and other ventures, as it’s truly an effective way to reach people who might be interested in my work.
In social media, building a close relationship with your audience is important. Is there something specific you want to share with your fans, and what do you think attracts them the most?
What attracts my fans the most are funny reels, especially those about relationships or typical women's issues and problems that many people can relate to. The majority of my followers are women (88%), so it’s easier for me to communicate with them and share things that genuinely interest them. I often try to show not just my life, but also funny moments that resonate with my followers. This way, I feel like I’m building a more personal connection with my fans.
What advice would you give to people who want to develop their profiles like you and successfully combine passion with a career in social media?
Be yourself, because authenticity attracts people, but above all, be consistent in what you do. Regular posting is key, but remember not to give up, even when you face difficulties. Algorithms on TikTok or Instagram can often be unpredictable and block reach without any clear reason, but that shouldn't discourage you. It's important not to give up and keep going because only then will you achieve success. Over time, you'll see the results of your work, and patience and consistency will definitely pay off!
How do you perceive the role of social media in building an artistic career? Do you think the world of show business today could function without them?
I believe that today social media is absolutely essential in building an artistic career. Without them, it would be hard to reach a wide audience, as platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube are the main communication channels. While this offers tremendous opportunities, I also feel that it's somewhat sad because, in the past, talent was the primary focus, but now often the number of likes or follows determines career growth. Many people might be excellent artists, but they don't have a chance if they can't navigate this virtual reality.
What are your long-term goals related to social media? Do you want to create something unique for your followers, such as your own product line or a channel focused on a specific topic?
Right now, I have a few ideas, but I’m not revealing them yet. I’m currently focusing on finishing my studies, which is my priority. After completing them, I would like to start working on bigger projects related to social media. I want to create something unique and special for my followers, but for now, I’m keeping those plans secret.
